Sunday(e) Australia Day Dub Party Time

This sunday we will be taking our 'dub allstars' improv. stylings to the Rosemount Hotel in celebration of invasion day as part of the regular 'Sundae' Cut and Paste magazine shindig. Joining us will be the incredibly awesome Naik plus Blackwater Station and the lovely Hayley Beth - not to mention a sweet array of awesome Dj's out in the beer garden.

Tonight - Vinyl / DVD launch

10:45 - 11:30 - FRENCH ROCKETS

~11:30 - Music Video Screening

Visual projections to be provided by VJ Lambency.

This is going to be a packed out event, and room is strictly limited so be sure to get down early to make sure you get in. Keep in mind that if its a hot day things are going to be pretty toasty inside, so be sure to bring something to wet your whistle with. There is no bar at the venue, but ample stores within walking distance that will supply all your beverage needs, we assume you're mature enough to keep yourself suitably saturated.

The Chapel is an amazing little venue, so lets keep it that way - please try and refrain from bringing glassware into the building. Cans and plastic are fine.

The Vinyl / DVD package is $25. This is not inclusive of entry as it has been mis-advertised in some publications.
There is a very limited amount of ultra awesome rare clear / see-through vinyl - these will not last long. First come, first serve.

Epic of Gilgamesh returns in support of HEALTH (us) !!! - Feb 27th @ Becks Music Box

We've been sitting on this one for a while now but the news has been made public - (albeit the PIAF has called us the Epidemic of Gilgamesh ... sounds badass and all, but not entirely accurate) - yes, we will be performing the EPIC again. Yes, it will be as part of the Perth International Arts Festival. Yes it will be on the Perth esplanade at the Becks Music Box and YES it will be following a no doubt enthralling peformance from LA visitors HEALTH (pictured above).

The Epic of Gilgamesh is an expanded live version of Injured Ninja that takes our regular songs and expands them with a chorus of percussion that includes atleast two full drumkits and upwards of 25 additional drummers on floor toms, cowbells and just about anything that can be hit and made into rythymic noise. We will be restructing the event this year to be a much more defined and controlled performance. Prepare thyselves. Entry is free after 10pm, we will be closing the night later on after a jam pefromance from the Dub Get Dirty band.
