IDDQD 12" / DVD Split

Released: 16 January, 2010
Heartless Robot Productions
'IDDQD' is a special concept single produced in tandem with Perth psychedelic mindlords French Rockets. A cherished homage to the classic epic videogame 'DOOM' - IDDQD is a pulsating hypnotic beat, that blends a precision twin-drummer attack with gnarly sub-bass and psychoacoustic earth shattering walls of guitar tones.
Included in this limited-edition package is a glorious 12 inch 45rpm
Vinyl featuring the full 8 and a half minute track in glorious audio
quality, plus a DVD video that contains a 320 kbps mp3 of the song, plus
a full length music video and additional extras including in-depth behind the scenes footage, complete Japan 2009 tour documentary / blog, a small feature on the 'Epic of Gilgamesh' series of performances and an bonus music video for improvised noise song 'MAN | CAN'. The same goes for the French Rockets content lovingly contained on the opposing side of wax. Both music videos were produced by Injured Ninja and their team of talented visual witchdoctors.
Recorded at Shogun Studios with Engineer Trevor Cotton in 2009, with vocal overdubs being laid down at Cellar Session Studios with Max Ducker. IDDQD was mixed by Steven Hughes and brought into new glorious light by Kieran Kenderessy at Loop studios.
