In an unexpected turn of events the ninjas have found themselves honored with 2 nominations in the WAMi music awards. They're like the arias - only less significant but somehow featuring some better music.

Injured Ninja are nominated in the BEST MUSIC VIDEO and BEST SINGLE categories for the IDDQD video and 1x1/IDDQD split 12"/DVD respectively. The latter being the most hilarious because we are up against both Eskimo Joe and John Butler Trio. Only YOU can swing votes unfairly in our favor against these tyrants of mediocre pop! A vote for Ninja is a vote all for all that is noisy, energetic and interesting about music... but seriously, may be the best band win etc. etc.

In the music video category we are up against a video that the majority of Injured Ninja was involved in MAKING - Sugar Army's Tounges in Cheeks. So if we get beaten, we will be only beating ourselves. =P But it would be great to usurp the popular choice with our DOOM inspired gorefest vid.
